I'm a bookkeeper, not an agency. I do the work myself, and I've been doing it for 14 years — the last eight of those as Admin for Tradies, working with New Zealand trade and service businesses.
Before that I ran the office of a mechanic's workshop. That's where I learned how a trade business really works from the inside — how the money moves, how fast a busy week can bury the paperwork, and which admin actually earns its place. It's the reason I've never asked a tradie to become an office person. You do your thing, I do mine. It's a good balance of skills.
What makes Admin for Tradies different is that I build the systems as well as run the books — receipt capture, supplier statement checking, job costing, month-end reporting. If something is being done badly by hand, I'd rather fix it than keep charging you for it.
Qualifications: a Master of Business, a Diploma in Lean Systems and a Diploma in Accounting — which is the reason the systems work as well as the books do.
Based in Prebbleton, Canterbury. Working with tradies right across New Zealand.
